Hillside Villa with breathtaking views of the Bali Sea

This luxurious 500 M2 three bedroom, four bathroom villa is located in Kayuputih, North Bali, on a hillside with breathtaking views of the Bali Sea and the volcanos on the Island of Java. It’s a short 5 min drive to the beach, restaurants, and tourist attractions of Lovina.

Villa Cengkeh has an open-air plan where common rooms flow together across 2 covered verandas that join to form the 100 M2 entry hall and living room. The west veranda, which faces a deep ravine and has views of the Bali mountains, has a dining area with a table that easily seats 8 people and a lounge area for guests. The north veranda, which faces the sea, has a small breakfast table and lounge area for the owners. A 20 x 3 M infinity-edge lap pool borders the north veranda. For those who want a casual dip after relaxing in the sun, the pool has a 5 M extension into a leisure pool with steps for easy access from the sun deck.

Each of the 3 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms has a king-sized (200 x 200 cm) bed and an open-air ensuite bathroom. The owners’ suite has a 6 x 6-meter bedroom with an adjoining dressing room and an adjoining office/TV room. A 4th full bath is accessed from both the living room and the office/TV room. The 2 guest bedrooms are 5 x 5-meters, each with a built-in closet, bed side tables and a desk. A large (5 x 5-meter) fully equipped kitchen is open to the dining and the living room areas. There is a covered car port with attached laundry room.

The home is surrounded by tropical gardens with flowering plants such as plumeria, coral and flamboyant trees. There are many fruit trees, including mango, banana, coconut, sapodilla, and starfruit. There are vegetable gardens that now have peppers, zucchini, eggplant, and basil.

Villa Cengkeh is an energy conscious home. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, the office/TV room, the kitchen, and the living room. All hot water is heated by solar. The swimming pool pump is powered by solar panels. Kitchen scraps are composted for use in the gardens.

The villa has a Balinese staff of 2 housekeepers, 3 gardeners, a nighttime security guard and a manager. They usually work 7 hours/day, 6 days/week. Their hours, however, will be adapted to accommodate the wishes of the guests. Our English-speaking manager and housekeeping staff will gladly organize everything for you. If you wish to dine in the villa, our highly skilled staff will prepare tasty western or Asian meals for only the cost of the ingredients. You may do your own grocery shopping, or just give the housekeepers a list.
